We are IMPI Robotics, a FIRST robotics team based out of Ferndale, Michigan. Our name was inspired by the Impi Warriors of South Africa, which we learned about through our close relationship with a South African team. We started in 2007 working out of an old woodshop room with very little knowledge of FIRST. Now with over ten years of experience, we are forever working toward our team mission of waging a war on technological illiteracy through the use of the FIRST robotics programs.
Team 1025 is based out of Ferndale High School in Ferndale, Michigan. None of what we do would be possible without the kindness of Ferndale Public Schools.
The team runs on support from our many generous sponsors and all of our wonderful IMPI families. Thank you!
The FIRST Robotics Competition is an international high school robotics competition that gives students real-world engineering and business experience. Being involved in their programs gives us valuable skills and knowledge for the future.
